In less then 5 minutes walking distance you arrive to SREBRENA beach one of the nicest beaches on the island. Our lovely apartments are situated on the island of Vis in a nice cove (Rukavac) that is famous for its most beautiful beach - Srebrena Beach. Our house is the nearest possible one to this beach. Rukavac is situated 12 km from the main port of Vis. With poor bus connections,your own means of transport is required. For now there are no markets near the house, just two small typical restaurants. However, bread is delivered every morning as well as fruits and vegetables. Not far from the house there is a marina where you can rent a small boat in order to explore the peaceful bays of the island. Directions: To get to the apartments, travel to the southeast end of the island to the village of Rukavac. As you drive down the hill into town make the last available right turn onto a paved road (if you get to the restaurant you have gone too far, turn around and go back 100 meters). Wind your way through the vacation homes and when you see the last row of houses.. second house on your right side.. you are finally there!! How to reach VisFrom Split: - Ferry boats drive regulary (two or three times a day in summer time). It only takes two and a half hours to get to the island. - Hydrofoils take you to the island in one and a half hours (passengers only)From Ancona:-There is a ferry boat that drives directly to the island but only in summer time.However, during the whole year there are regular lines to Split.
